नमस्ते, हैलो मेरे ब्लॉग में स्वागत है
Namaste
Hello and welcome to my blog.
In November I was given a marvellous opportunity to see at first hand what Save the Children is doing in India. Along with four other long term supporters I spent a week visiting many of their projects in Delhi and Rajasthan. Save the Children had organised a full schedule, and we were fortunate to be able to see many different aspects of the charity’s work.
This blog describes what we saw, and also attempts to answer questions about how Save the Children is using donors money to help children in India. Thank you for taking the time to read it. You can look back on what we saw each day in some of the older blogs in the archive section. You might also like to look at the blogs from the other team members if you have time for even more (under “Blogs I follow”).
I was hugely impressed by the work that I saw, and by the skill and dedication of the Save the Children team in India. Now that I’m back I plan to use the blog to describe people’s reactions as we talk about the visit and the issues raised. I hope also to be able to describe the follow up to the visit by all the team so will be adding to it regularly over the next few months.
I do hope that you enjoy reading this. If you have, please consider donating to allow Save the Children to continue their work. You can do this with a cash gift, or with a commitment to leave money in your will on their website through this link to Save the Children
Thankyou
धन्यवाद
Andy
