नमस्ते, नया साल मुबारक हो

Namaste, Happy New Year

It’s now over six weeks now since I got back from India where I had been given  a wonderful opportunity to see at first hand what Save the Children is doing there.  Six busy weeks enjoying Christmas and the New Year with friends and family,  but even with all this seasonal excitement the India visit still seems fresh in my memory.    Of course,  over the holidays many people were interested to hear about what the trip was about and what we saw there , and that has helped to keep things firmly in my mind.   I’ve been grateful for everyone’s interest, and it’s been interesting to see the range of reactions that people have had to the trip.

Those of you who visited this site before will know that I do plan to continue to use the blog to describe people’s reactions to the visit and to explore some of  the issues raised. I’ll also be describing the follow up to the visit by all of the team so will be adding to it regularly over the next few months.  So please keep checking it out!  If you’ve missed the earlier “live” descriptions of the visit you can look back on what we saw each day in the archive section.

I do hope that you enjoy reading this.  If you have found it interesting please consider donating to allow Save the Children to continue their work. You can do this with a cash gift, or with a commitment to leave money in your will on their website through this link to Save the Children

Thankyou

धन्यवाद
